You could say this Studio City, CA home has gone to the dogs, and you wouldn’t be wrong — or harsh. In an effort to show potential buyers how fun, relaxing, comfortable and chill living in this lovely home would be, the owners unleashed their doodles Boomer and Ted on the place to stage one of the most entertaining video home tours we’ve ever seen.
Without further ado(g), take a look:
Listing agent Craig Knizek of The Agency is the man behind the movie, and says it took far more work than just following the pups around with a camera. He notes “The owners were actively involved in running around to entice the dogs to run from place to place, offering treats, and hiding in the doorways.”
Of course there was an engaging script to be written, which was accomplished by Knizek and talented filmmaker Blake Varga.
The voice performances were provided b Knizek himself, expertly pitch-shifted to match the personality of the dogs.
Still, there is only so much information dogs care to convey, so Knizek had to share the following five features the home on the listing itself:
- List price: $4,850,000
- B/B: 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms
- House size: 5,845 square feet
- Location: The very upscale and celebrity-filled Colfax Meadows neighborhood of Studio City
And did Boomer and Ted earn their biscuits? Indeed they did. The house was on the market less than a month before it went into escrow, and Knizek says “The buyers LOVED the video and wrote a letter to the family, as well as to Ted and Boomer!”
That should keep those adorable doodles out of the doghouse for awhile.
