Cities can be safe, they can be fun, and they can be boons for business… but can they really be sexy? According to Carrie Bradshaw—and a recent ranking by LawnStarter of the sexiest cities in America, they sure can!
The sexiest cities in America were determined using several factors including the share of the single population, Google search interest in adult content, and sex-toy sales. LawnStarter also surveyed nearly 800 U.S. adults to measure their libido levels during and after the pandemic.

1. Paradise, NV – More sinful than Sin City itself!
Are you surprised Las Vegas isn’t the No. 1 sexiest city in America? We are, too! But there’s something saucy to be said for Paradise, a bedroom community just off the Strip. With more sex shops and adult entertainment venues than any other city, Paradise is the Adult Entertainment Capital of America—not to be confused with the more widely-known Entertainment Capital, Las Vegas.
And here’s another shocker—Hollywood in Florida, not Hollywood in California, comes in at No. 3. But Cali is still coming in hot with Orange at No. 2 in the ranking, and three cities in the top 20. Nothing gets the juices flowing like sunshine and water, right? Florida has two cities in the top 10. These two big and beachy states appear most often in the top 10 for each of the nine individual metrics considered.
Then there’s the bottom of the barrel. Apparently, Texas is sexless. Adults clearly prefer to be alone with just their feelings in the aptly nicknamed Lone Star State. Only two of the 23 Texas cities in the ranking placed in the top 100: McAllen at No. 65 and Killeen at No. 73.
Seven Texas towns are in the bottom 10, including plain-no Plano at No. 194, not-so-frisky Frisco at No. 199, and Midland straggles in at dead last. So why don’t any of our exes live (or at least have sex) in Texas? Not sure, but we’ll steer clear!
